The SOS FAI specialises in orthopaedic care for all conditions of the foot & ankle, and was co-founded by Dr. David Lunz and Dr. Jeff Ling
Dr. David Lunz and Dr. Jeff Ling provide orthopaedic foot and ankle care to the people of Sydney and beyond. Together, they oversee the tertiary referral service for complex foot and ankle problems at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children's Hospitals, and co-founded the Sydney Orthopaedic Specialists Foot & Ankle Institute (SOS FAI). Their interests include but are not limited to: athletic, paediatric, degenerative, and rheumatologic foot and ankle problems. They are committed to furthering the field of orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery, through their association with the Surgical Orthopaedic Research Laboratory (SORL) at Prince of Wales, and the training of medical students, junior doctors, and orthopaedic trainees in their roles as conjoint lecturers at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), and supervisors for the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA).
